We have been traveling upstate to this area for many years.  This year we decided to stay in Westport at The Inn on the Library Lawn.  This was perfect—the Inn has been very pleasant and cheerful.  The view is terrific.  The family and the Inn are WONDERFUL.

Our first visit to the U.S. and what a wonderful spot to choose.  Westport is all we hoped it would be, a charming town in a beautiful area.  The Inn is fabulous and this room an absolute delight.  Big comfortable bed and the sun shining in on the blue walls, while the view is stunning.  Would very much recommend this to others and hope to be back ourselves sometime.

My bike trip turned into a nightmare when I had to follow a detour because of road construction.  Many miles later and hours, I came to the Inn.  Alexandra offered to drive me the last 12 miles to the ferry.  Instead, I decided to stay and take advantage of their hospitality.  She even loaned me a clean t-shirt for dinner!  My mis-adventure turned into a wonderful treat.  Thank you again.

Thanks for such a relaxing stay in Westport!  Just what the doctor ordered!  We came to get away from all the stress of the holiday season and now that we’re rested, can thank you for such a peaceful weekend.  Even through home is right across the lake…the daily grind, seemed a million miles away!  The bathroom is marvelous and I especially liked the sky-blue ceiling!  I never wanted to leave that palatial bed!  Excuse all of the numerous exclamation points, but it’s the only way to describe my enthusiasm for the Inn!
